The first thing to realize is that charging interest increases the money supply. We know the Greek’s understood this because their word for interest, tokos, means birth or offspring. They equated charging interest with multiplication like breeding animals or planting for harvest. And, those sources ultimately fail us! When we trust & obey Scripture, we trust and obey God Himself. Prayer is one way of communicating with God. We see it modeled throughout all of scripture. I often reference the book of Psalms to find comfort by reading prayers written by others.
